Blizzard Time Lapse

I just saw this time-lapse clip of the current east coast blizzard although I don’t know exactly where it was shot. It consists of shots taken over a 20 hour period. It’s only 38 seconds long, and I thought some of you might be interested.

Whoa! Our whole family just watched that!

  2. Ruth says:

Wow! The video is well done. I will have to get my daughter to do that next time London ON gets hammered. We never get storms like that in Kitchener (thank goodness!)

  3. Mary says:

AC, We haven’t had a storm like that in some years, but this year it’s been happening all around us. I figure that one of these times we aren’t going to be so lucky.

Going now to catch up with other news here.

    Blessings,
    Mary

  4. AC, this was quite amazing when Grenville showed it to me earlier today and he found a link on the New York Times website. This guy is really getting some good coverage.

  5. Hilary says:

Wasn’t that fascinating? I wish we could get that much snow in 38 seconds. It might make winter a more challenging season.

  9. Junie says:

WOW! That’s cool!! haha (for sure)

  10. Mara says:

I love how he put the clock up higher and higher until that wasn’t really possible anymore. I bet he must have been tired at the end though: having to take a photo every so often over that period of time!

  11. Ginnie says:

Very interesting… it makes our North Carolina snowstorm look like nothing … but it was a big deal to us. I will have comparison pictures soon. Have you read Philip’s latest entry at Pebbles in the Stream? Very provocative and I can’t wait to read the blog by the Homeless person. All the best to your family for the new year, AC.
