Crocuses Coming

Now do you see it?

Crocuses Coming

That’s right! The crocuses are a’comin!

Taken from the same spot (almost) as yesterdays snowfall video.

Just to keep me happy, here are a couple of my crocus pics from yesteryear as I wait expectantly like a first-time father.

We are being walloped with snow this morning 😦
But someone in town reported seeing snowdrops blooming this week 🙂

  3. Ginger says:

Wonderful! I was just in Washington DC (am writing this comment somewhere over Wisconsin from the plane), and the cherry blossoms are just starting to make their appearance over there. Lucky folk. Our spring at home is a few weeks behind theirs. But we do have crocuses blooming. (Crocii?)

that is such a better intro to spring than the one I was planning, which involves Mr Clean and Ms Vacuum Cleaner. You’re my new philosophical guru

  5. Hilary says:

I’m suitably envious. We’ve had snow falling all day.. and still going strong. They’re lovely little crocs!

  6. AC, something to definitely look forward to when winter finally ends.

It will be a little bit longer before my crocuses peek through, but when they do . . . it’s such a happy day at my house.
While I’m here, just a reminder to go vote today. You’re about the only one still taking the time to do so these days !

Those little green shoots look very hardy and it amazes one to think that they will flower soon. Enjoy…

Just hang on AC it is coming for sure. The sun is getting stronger and more warming everyday, except the days it gets cold again. LOL Up and down around and around.
