Drummer Boy

Significant changes have been occurring in kidland lately. Now that sister goes off to school every weekday morning, Zach is finally learning to play by himself. For the first few months of aloneness, he was pretty clingy to whatever adult was nearby, except when being mesmerized by the telly, of course. Now, he can happily play with drums, castles, cars or whatnot. As it turns out, he has quite an imagination and can amuse himself in his little stories and play roles for quite awhile. This is quite a wonderful change for Amma and Buppa as well.

That is indeed a change. Thank goodness as I can remember how exhausting to try to constantly entertain. Their growing up was hard for me though. I miss the baby days.

What a cutie, so nice to see them grow but kind of sad as well. So glad the A team were home, these times are so special…..:-)Hugs

  3. How sweet it Is! He’s such a big boy…Love the photo of them at the Christmas tree.

And in the process, the babe turns into a boy. Too too soon, the boy will turn into a man. Oh, how time flies.

  5. Mara says:

Oh my, he gets to be quite the young man already! How time flies.

I love your madness photos by the way, they are always the best!

I am sure this will be an exciting Christmas for him. He is growing quickly but is still so very cute. (I do miss his curls though)

Oh how I LOVE it when they can enjoy their own entertainment. Except when they reject the entertainment I so thoughtfully provide…

  8. Hilary says:

Good for him. I’ll bet he’s a lot happier for it too. Adorable photos as always.

  9. Your grandkids are adorable, but I assume you know that 😉 Also, could we have a photo of the entire Christmas tree? It looks lovely and very fun with the stuffed animals and various critters peeking out.

  10. How quickly this young boy is growing up before your and our very eyes and he is indeed a charmer!

AC, I just caught up, and as photogenic as your grandkids are, all I can think about is the giant cheese falling through the floorboards in Chicago.

    He’s adorable 🙂 Enjoy!
