The First Double Sleepover

Cuppa and I had the kids over for their first double sleepover on the weekend. She has been here for any number of sleepovers, and he has had many an afternoon nap here, but this was their first sleepover together.

First Double Sleepover

First order on the agenda: prepare a playmeal.

First Double Sleepover

Then pretend to eat it.

First Double Sleepover

We want to string some beads, Amma.

First Double Sleepover

After dinner it was time to dry the dishes: she wearing grandma's reading glasses.

First Double Sleepover

Then it was story time -- or at least round one with one more round to follow at bedtime.

First Double Sleepover

Hamming it up at jammie time.

First Double Sleepover

Watching a little Caillou before bedtime.

First Double Sleepover

Playing on Buppa's Playbook in bed early in the morning.

First Double Sleepover

On their own DS's in the morning. He is using what was once mine, but since I wasn't using it anymore, I was happy to pass it on at Christmas.

We all survived … but we haven’t exactly planned our next one yet. 🙂

So cute and looks like fun, I am sure you both were exhausted though. These times pass so quickly you just have to enjoy them before they will only want sleepovers with their friends……..:-)Hugs

Priceless. And how all of you will treasure these entries into your memory banks in years to come! Sincerely, they are beautiful and precious children.

Well that seemed to go rather smoothly! I haven’t had both together yet either. Jack is a HUGE handful and right now, I just can handle that. Hopefully by summer.
I love ND in Cuppa’s glasses!
    Love Di ♥

Did he sneeze in that photo of his face all scrunched up?

I note that the young man went to bed in one pair of pjs and appears in the morning shots in another pair. Sleepover hazard? Lovely shots – something for them to remember when they are all grown up.
I’m missing my grandkid’s annual February sleepover this year – due to Jim’s back, her aunt is being roped in for the weekend. It will break my string of photos, alas.
Speaking of photos – I am over half done with the sorting. I just threw out almost 1000 images.

Aha–no next double sleep over planned. Speaks volumes. You will, of course, have one…when you and Cuppa recover.

  7. Oh! How I miss those times! Enjoy it Ac….They’re gone before you know it.
    Love the photos!
